Beaucarnea Recurvata (Elephant’s foot 60 cm)

Beaucarnea Recurvata, also known as ‘Elephant’s Foot’, is an easy-care houseplant. It is not at all fussy. It bears this name because of its unique thickened stem. It is native to Central America and especially Mexico. The plant stores water in the stem and therefore should not be over-watered. Beaucarnea Recurvata belongs to the Asparagaceae family.

This product is perishable and cannot be returned. This product only feeds our soul, it is not intended for human consumption.

Care recommendations and information about Beaucarnea Recurvata

Light. Beaucarnea prefers places with strong light but should not be placed in direct sunlight.

The optimum growing temperature is between 22-24°C. In winter, it can be placed in a cooler room, but the temperature should not drop below 8-10°C.

Humidity. It does not have very high air humidity requirements, but at temperatures above 20°C it is advisable to spray the leaves with non-liming water.

Substrate. This shrub needs a light, well-draining substrate that does not retain water to prevent root rot. This can be made up of ericaceous earth, mranite and fine gravel.

The delivery schedule is M-F: 10:00 – 21:00, S-S: 10:00 – 19:00, in busy periods (Name Days/ March 1-8) it can be extended until 23:00.

Between March 1-8, both in Bucharest and in the province, we cannot guarantee the delivery date regardless of when the order is placed. Although we can process a very large volume of orders, during this period deliveries can be made 1-2 days late.
