Citrus margarita Kumquat, also called simply kumquat or fortunella, is a perennial fruit plant with evergreen foliage, special both in colour and flavour. It is suitable for both gardens and indoor spaces. Native to Asia, the kumquat is prized for its small, oval fruit, which can be eaten straight from the peel, offering a unique, sweet-sour taste, ideal for a variety of culinary dishes or as a snack.

To grow optimally, this plant requires exposure to the sun, and is ideally placed in sunny areas of the garden or on well-exposed patios and balconies. The kumquat also prefers well-drained soil with a slightly acidic to neutral pH and needs regular watering, avoiding excess water to prevent root rot.

Care recommendations and information about the Citrus Tree

Light. This plant needs direct sunlight and is perfect for placing in the sunniest areas of the garden or on patios and balconies that are well exposed to the sun.

Watering should be done frequently but without excess water to avoid root rot.

Regular fertilisation during active growing periods will help the plant to develop optimally and to bear fruit.

Delivery is free for orders over 100 lei or 19 lei for orders under 100 lei.

The delivery schedule is M-F: 10:00 – 21:00, S-S: 10:00 – 19:00, in busy periods (Name Days/ March 1-8) it can be extended until 23:00.

Between March 1-8, both in Bucharest and in the province, we cannot guarantee the delivery date regardless of when the order is placed. Although we can process a very large volume of orders, during this period deliveries can be made 1-2 days late.
