Monstera Deliciosa 85cm

Monstera Deliciosa is a superb decorative plant, native to Central America (Mexico, Colombia), characterized by its distinctive leaves. In the wild, it is an epiphytic plant, attaching its roots to the stems of other plants for support without being a pest to them. It seeks light, has flowers similar to Spahiphyllum and edible fruit, similar in taste to pineapple but shaped like corn kernels.

Monstera Deliciosa blossoms its own leaves as it grows, making it easier for light and water from rain to reach the roots. Its large, evergreen leaves, cut at the edges and with perforations on the inside, give it a distinctive decorative appearance.

As a houseplant, Monstera Deliciosa is known for its large leaves with perforations on the inside, which attract the eye and add a special charm.

Care recommendations and information about Monstera Deliciosa

Light: Monstera Deliciosa prefers bright spaces, a few hours of sun a day, especially in the morning or evening, avoiding exposure to the sun in the midday hours to prevent leaf burn. However, it can also tolerate semi-shaded sites, especially in the cold winter season.

Temperature: Monstera Deliciosa prefers temperatures between 19 – 24 degrees Celsius. It originates from tropical areas, so it does not tolerate temperatures below 13 degrees.

Watering: During spring and summer, Monstera must be watered abundantly and requires a weekly fertilizer application. In winter, watering should be moderate.

Delivery is free for orders over 100 lei or 19 lei for orders under 100 lei.

The delivery schedule is M-F: 10:00 – 21:00, S-S: 10:00 – 19:00, in busy periods (Name Days/ March 1-8) it can be extended until 23:00.

Between March 1-8, both in Bucharest and in the province, we cannot guarantee the delivery date regardless of when the order is placed. Although we can process a very large volume of orders, during this period deliveries can be made 1-2 days late.
